Blogging for artisans 2
I wrote before about how effective blogging can be for Artisans. Marisa Haedike of Creative Thursday is a perfect example of someone who is really using the medium to promote her art. Originally, she came up with the idea of doing a painting a day and posting the finished picture on her blog. As you can see from the amount of red dots on her store, she is having some success with this approach.
She also has her own podcast show. The podcast is a weekly, mini documentary about going for what you want and, living the creative life!
As well as selling paintings, she designs furniture, bed linen, cards and much more. We need to get more Irish artists doing this!
