An Irish Craftworkers Good Life
I talked before about the suitability of blogging for Artisans and its a great pity that there aren’t more Irish artists using this medium. One person who does stand out, though, is Rebecca Allen. Her Blog is less than a year old, but already it has matured into one of the best blogs in Ireland IMHO. I must admit, I didn’t know much about the material felt until I came across her blog. Her craft is based on working with felt and as you can see from above, is well worth checking out. Her products form only a small part of her blog, though. There are so many other dimensions to it. She is an excellent writer and story teller, as well as having a great eye for photography. Added to that, she also lives in a very photogenic rural part of Ireland, which an international audience would find fascinating I’m sure. There are other aspects I have left out as I don’t want to analyse it to death, but definitely a blog I heartily recommend.
