RDS National Crafts Fair
I got an email from one of Irelands top Black and White photographers, Philip Pankov the other day and it occurred to me that I haven’t profiled any photographers on this blog yet. Philip is originally from Russia and you can see from his photographs that he brings with him the eye of an outsider. I often think it takes the eye of an outsider to bring life to a landscape. Certainly his photographs have a fresh perpective. The picture above was taken in beautiful Glendalough in Wicklow.
I’m going to try and get to the RDS National Crafts Fair this weekend and meet up with Philip. Hopefully I’ll discover a lot of new artisans for this blog also. There should be over 450 artisans showcasing their wares, so it should be a lot of fun.

Really, really beautiful. I linked to his site from your blog entry and that photo of the tree through the doorway is breathtaking. I clicked on the link to find out purchase price but it said that it was $0. If you see the phtographer tell him if he is ever interested in swapping his photos for a stay in Marrakech, he knows where to find me….;-)
