I think, I am going to start a link love day series, where I link to a bunch of bloggers who are posting interesting items. The above one is from Indie Obsession and is dedicated to my favorite Iranian Blogger, who happens to like polka dots and wellies.
I’d love to get one of these for my daughter. So much fun… from That Jolie Girl
Modamuse are one of my favorite Australian Craft blogs. Love these ceramic pieces from Liz Low.
It looks like Marrakesh is the place to be in 2007. Let Maryam in Marrekesh guide you through the colourful world of Moroccan Shopping.

Inhabitat is one of my favourite design blogs. They focus very much on sustainable living and like many other blogs, they are making gift suggestions at the moment. I particularly like the post they have done on winter knitwear items. All of these are either organic or recycled products and they look really stylish as well. It might be a bit late for a christmas purchase, but the winter has plenty of legs in it yet…at least here in Ireland anyway.
The Oxfam Ireland Fair Trade Online Shop carries a great selection of fair trade goods, and delivers to Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK. You can buy presents for Christmas delivery right up until Sunday December 17th.
Oxfam is committed to ending poverty and suffering in developing countries. They promote understanding of the causes of these injustices, and campaign for a world where every man, woman, and child can live free from hunger, poverty, and oppression.
Any designers out there who might be interested in getting involved in the design of fair trade artisan products might want to check this out:
Designers are invited to support the objectives of Eco Design Lab an organisation that is funded by Discovered In to help incubate artisan based worker cooperatives in the poor communities of developing nations such as Brazil. The projects will be delivered by local NGOs to provide affordable workspace, skills training, business education and financial support.People in poor communities do not have access to information about fashion and design trends, so often make elaborate handcrafted products that are not highly valued. To solve the dilemma designers are invited to register with Eco Design Lab and receive monthly design briefs. Designs can then be submitted for review and voting on the website and winning designs will be produced. The designers receive a royalty on the sales of the items.
Products designed for Eco Design Lab will be produced in the
communities and distributed internationally under the Tiptoe brand name
by Discovered In.
Eco Design Lab its sister site, does seem to be in transition at the moment though, so I’m not sure if they are taking submissions at the moment?
